FAQs

Q – Why should I use a payroll service instead of processing my own payroll, in-house?

A – Payroll reporting laws have become increasingly complex, and are subject to change annually.  Failure to comply with these rules can result in penalties that far exceed the cost of engaging an outside service provider.

Q – I only have a couple of employees.   Do I really need a payroll service?

A – Regardless of the number of employees you have, you are subject to the same reporting obligations as an employer with 50 or 100 employees.

Q – Do I need to wait until the beginning of a new year to switch service providers?

A – We can commence services to you at any time during the year as long as you are able to provide us with accurate year-to-date payroll information.

Q – Aren’t payroll services expensive?

A – Not necessarily.  Depending on the number of people you employ, the number of states in which you file payroll tax returns, and the frequency of your pay, costs can vary substantially.  Generally, an employer with less than 10 employees can expect to pay anywhere from $30 to $50 per pay period for processing services.  Compared to the cost of failing to comply with federal, state, and local reporting obligations, payroll processing is a bargain.

Q – How can I find out more about your services?
